Mr Chua Kee Lock is Group President & CEO of Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd and President & CEO
of Vertex Venture Management Pte. Ltd.
Prior to joining Vertex Group, Kee Lock was the President and Executive Director of
Biosensors International Group, Ltd., a developer and manufacturer of medical devices
used in interventional cardiology and critical care procedures. From 2003 to 2006,
Mr. Chua was a managing director of Walden International, a U.S.-headquartered venture capital firm.
Between 1987 to 1997 and 2001 to 2003, Kee Lock served in various
different roles within NatSteel Group. Positions held include Vice
President of Transpac Capital, a Venture Capital firm, CEO of Intraco
Ltd and Deputy President of NatSteel Ltd. Between 1998 to 2000, Kee
Lock was the co-founder and President of MediaRing.com Ltd, a
voice-over-Internet services which was successfully listed in Singapore in late 1999.
Kee Lock holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University
of Wisconsin at Madison, and an MS degree in Engineering from Stanford
University under NatSteel scholarship. Kee Lock serves as a member of
the Board of Directors of Logitech International S.A. which is listed in
Nasdaq and Switzerland. Mr Chua is also a board member of Biosensors,
Yongmao, SHC Capital and BRC Asia Limited, all publicly traded companies
in Singapore.
In addition to his above appointment, Kee Lock is also the Honorary Treasurer
of Beyond Social Services and Board member of Mainly I Love Kids (MILK) Charity
and Maris Stella High School.
